There is always a 'curse' hanging over a sequel. They are usually duds at the box-office. But Ice Age movie seems to have broken the tradition. The animation is awe inspiring and a plethora of new characters. Now the directors in Hollywood will be more enthusiastic to bring out other sequels too. Ice Age is primarily a flick for the kids but the adults can enjoy it too.

The cast is familiar - Manny (Ray Romano), Ellie (Queen Latifah), Diego (Denis Leary) and of course, the adorable Sid (John Leguizamo). If Ice Age 2 was all about glaciers and meltdowns, the third is occupied with love and mating thereby creating a spring like atmosphere. We find the mammoths, Manny and Ellie, very excited and as they are expecting their first baby. Manny spends most of the time by the side of his pregnant wife. This creates a sense of insecurity in the minds of Diego - the saber toothed tiger and Sid - the faltering but lovable sloth. While Diego is thinking of leaving; Sid, on the other hand, decides to starts a family of his own.

Since Sid does not have a she-sloth to live with, he decides to raise three 'abandoned' eggs as his own. He was unaware of the fact that the eggs belonged to a T-Rex dinosaur. As soon as the babies hatch they display mammal eating tactics. The mother T-Rex arrives on the scene soon enough and grab hold of Sid and the babies by the neck and takes them to an underground world that is full of other dinosaurs, a weasel named Buck and several man-eating and dangerous plants.

The sequences that follow are predictable. Manny and other others run to save Sid. They enter the underground world which looks like a primitive rainforest. I guess the animators have a whale of a time here. The screen is filled with vibrant colors, lots of cuddly creatures, one-liners etc apart from the familiar scenes of balancing rocks and snow slides from the earlier versions of Ice Age movie.

Scrat, the squirrel, who runs after the subtle acorn is seen in this movie too. But we are introduced to a new character. A female squirrel, Scratte, is the worthy rival for the acorn and provides a romantic side too.

The animation detailing in Ice Age 3 will leave you spell bound. The colors, the character profiling and the comic scenes are so well depicted that you will have a hard time to even go for a drink in the middle of the movie. The mammoth looks awesome on the screen but the animated dinosaurs made us fell disappointed. They look fake but we have decided to ignore this little glitch.

Ice Age movie is renowned for world class action and comedy scenes. This claim is further strengthened by the last hour of the movie with edge of the seat scenes. But I am not going to give away the ending so easily. Go and check out the movie in the nearest theater or if you prefer you can watch Ice Age online free. Matt Damon stars in the action thriller 'The Bourne Identity' based on the book by Robert Ludlum. Doug Liman directs this spy thriller which has all the makings of a blockbuster. Though critics had initially dismissed the film as a potential box office dud, the collections worldwide had proved otherwise. Matt Damon, as the assassin, is the latest pin-up guy after this film.

The film shows that on a stormy night a young man is pulled out from the cold waters of the Mediterranean Sea by a fishing boat. They all think that the man is dead. But an over inquisitive fisherman with a scalpel finds two bullets in the back and a mini laser device in the hip of the 'dead' man. The laser revealed a Swiss Bank Account number. But the fisherman was wrong. The wet man is not dead and soon finds himself in Zurich. The young man searches through a bank vault and ultimately stumbles upon something that has his name, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon).

He is confused as to why the CIA wants to finish him off. He began searching for answers and in this dangerous mission his companion is Marie, his love interest. He is hell bent on finding out why his life has taken a perilous turn. The film has a huge share of action scenes and is a very fast paced one too.

The Bourne Identity movie is a highly entertaining one and keeps you absorbed with its superb car chases and action sequences. There is nothing clichd about this movie and I can bet that you will find it hard to take your eyes off the screen eve for a second. The good thing about the film is that it does on dwell on the romance between Julia and Matt Damon. The indications are self-explanatory. We have seen a lot of action movies losing steam due to the spotlight on the love part but this is a welcome relief.

Among the lead actors, Matt Damon as Jason Bourne is par excellence. He gives a convincing performance and one just hopes that he displays the same intense acting in the future projects. His relationship is Marie is hinted at but never mollycoddled. That is commendable direction. There are two more Ludlum movies in this series and I just cannot wait to see the next Jason.

The two major disappoints in the movie would be the shortened role for Julia Stiles and Clive Owen. The former has nothing to do in the film while Clive has only a couple of good scenes.

This is a movie which is just too good to miss. I hope the local DVD store has many copies of this wonderful movie. But to avoid all tensions I suggest that you watch The Bourne Identity online free. Ulrich Seidl, a film maker and Australian writer wrote the story of the Import Export movie. He claimed that through this movie, he looked "directly in to hell" in a clearer and sharper way. According to him, the current workforce contributes to human pain and the costs due to globalization. Values of human compassion, he feels have taken a secondary seat. The fore seat is taken up by something which cannot be described but which is far darker - cruelty and glee in painful spectacles.

Import Export is a depressing movie which takes a look at two lives that are parallel in Ukraine and Austria. The first story main lead is Olga (Ekateryna Rak), a nurse by profession who is also a single mother struggling to make ends meet. The pay that she gets is not adequate and the housing conditions are terrible. She reaches her saturation limit one fine day, and decides to leave her child with her mother and move to Vienna to look for a job as a cleaner or a nanny. Paul, (Paul Hoffman) our second story main lead, belong to the working class in Austria. His body tattoos out number his qualifications. He used to work with a security firm which firms him for getting beaten up by drunken delinquents. He has but one choice now, to go with his womanising, repulsive, unpleasant, step-father, Michael (Michael Thomas) to Ukraine to sell gumball machines, fruit machines etc which are second hand to bars and cafes.

Meanwhile, Olga gets herself a job as a cleaner cum nanny in a house where the children of the house and the housewife treat her with contempt and fire her peremptorily with a day's notice. She does not have a nursing licence therefore becomes a cleaner at a geriatric hospital where she cannot come near the patients or touch them. Here too she is not spared, the ward-sister is spiteful and constantly keeps bullying her by she finds comfort with Erich, a patient who is kind toward her.

Since the film is shot in winter, the difference between the housing conditions in affluent Austria and desolate Ukraine housing estates are quite clearly brought forth. The sex industry is depicted like reality, where the rich use prostitutes and exploit them for their own entertainment and pleasure and treat the sex workers like robots without feelings, abusing and humiliating them constantly. Even Michael is shown doing this to a prostitute that he brings to his hotel room.

Subjects like frustration, indifference toward other's sufferings, humiliation, poverty and how it forces people to stoop to various levels to better themselves, are dealt with a very realistic touch to it. The lady of the movie Bella to her horror wakes up on her 18th birthday after a dream in which she sees her as an old woman. Edward's brother plots to kill Bella and to save her. Edward makes excuses and leaves the town with his family. This makes Bella heartbroken. She finds a new friend named Jacob Black who brings her out of her depression. But for more thrill this fellow is a werewolf, deadly enemies of Vampire. Meanwhile due to a series of miscommunication Edward hears that Bella committed suicide and he goes to Italy to kill himself. The movie has a great casting done. Robert Pattinson plays the role of hero and easily becomes girls' heart throb but comes for a very short time in the movie. The show of emotion and elegance was beautifully done by Kristen Stewart. Others' role in the movie was also done the best.

The 1964 classic 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl has been adapted into a film by Tim Burton. The film falls into the genre of fantasy and appeals to the children and adults alike. Audience favorite Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka while Freddie Highmore plays the role of Charlie Bucket.

Charlie belongs to a poor family that includes his father, mother and four grandparents who are fully bed ridden. The family members have profound love for each other but the much needed money was missing. The town had a chocolate factory owned by the freakish Willy Wonka. One fine day Willy announces that he has carefully hidden five golden tickets inside the Wonka bars. Those who get it will tour the chocolate factory and there will be a special prize for one lucky winner to be declared at the end.

Charlie was really lucky as he found the fifth ticket in one of the Wonka bars. He chose his Grandpa Joe to be with him inside the factory. Joe used to work with the factory before it hit rough weather. So the four winners, Charlie and Grandpa Joe enter the factory for the journey of a lifetime.

The factory is not a run - of - the mill one as it has a waterfall acting as chocolate mixers and a chocolate river by which the group tours the factory by boat. They also see some of the inventions of Willy such as Wonkavator which actually takes you to any part of the factory at the touch of a button. The experience is truly unique. They also met the Oompa - Loompa tribes who help in the running of the factory and get paid by chocolate beans. The factory was a real wonder for the children and Joe as they found everything in the factory is edible including trees and grass. They also encounter specially trained squirrels who shell nuts to be used in the chocolate bars.

The film is a must watch for all children. They will simply love the colorful and youthful look of the film. The director Tim Burton does a wonderful job with this film but the 2005 editions definitely a bit darker than the original flick. The puppet show at the start of the tour of the factory suddenly catches fire. This scene is a bit unnecessary. Secondly, kids might get frightened by the scary music and the vivid scenes depicting the children's exploits inside the factory.

Among the performances, the less said about Johnny Depp the better. Is he the same Johnny from the Pirates of the Caribbean series? His acting so pathetic that you may be tempted to think that he was not paid at all for this movie! Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket, however, proves a better actor than Depp, at least in this movie.

G-Force movie, is a family flick written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, the husband and wife team who have delivered many hits like National Treasure, Bad Boys II etc. This movie will definitely be a hit with the kiddies and the grown-ups too. The difficult part might be to get the kids to give up the idea of keeping rodents as pets after watching this movie.

The movie begins with a mole and three guinea pigs receiving training to speak like humans through some devices that are fitted in them. Together, they form the formidable G-squad who have been trained as spies. Ben, (Zack Galifianakis) a scientist who works for the government on the low level is responsible for training them. Besides this he also specializes in training insects to carry in to small spaces, tiny cameras and is also considered to be the lord of the flies.

Darwin (Sam Rockwell's voice), the lead pig is to go on a mission assigned to him by Ben. He is to be assisted by Juarez (voiced by Penelope Cruz) a latina, feisty guinea pig and Blaster (voiced by Tracy Morgan)a guinea pig who is African-American and Speckles, the mole (Nicholas Cage), the tech guyin all missions. Speckles also plays the role of talking the guinea pigs through any mission as he gets to electronically survey the vicinity that needs to be broken in to before the guinea pigs move in. His ethnic background remains undisclosed.

Ben suspects Sabar, (Bill Nighy) an industrialist who is a billionaire of scheming to conquer the world through his electrical appliances. Therefore he sends his squad on a mission which goes awry. This leads the FBI (Will Arnett and co) to close down Ben's zoo and gives all the zoo animals to a pet shop. The guinea pigs meet a crazy hamster (Steve Buscemi), who partially is a ferret and Hurley (voiced by Jon Favreau) another guinea pig that is chubby while in the pet shop. They help each other in their escape from the pet shop and seek to avenge this wrong together.

The rodents manage to escape from the pet shop along with their friends. Their main aim is to head toward Sabar and foil his deadly plans. The action begins from here. Not only will the chase scenes keep you on the edge of your seat but might threaten to throw you off the chair even in all the running and chasing, as the one liners come flying out thick and fast and your laughter is never ending. The pace of the story is peppy.

Opera Glasses are somewhat like binoculars except that they are for seeing stage performances. The opera houses of yesterday had seats that were free or cheaper for people but they were far away from the stage up on balconies. The stage was so distant that one could only see the figures moving around on stage. Props were nonexistent and seeing the singer or actors face was impossible. Opera glasses would make it a little easier for those sitting in the cheap seats to see what was happening on stage and see what the actors actually looked like. Opera glasses have been in use since the 50's.

Opera glasses are different from binoculars as they are made to be smaller and some where made not so much to look utilitarian but to look stylish. Some pop up from a flat looking case and are easily carried in women's clutch bags or in suit coat pockets. Others fold so that they can easily be carried around without notice. There are some that mimic those of the past with a single rod attached called a lorgnette, so the glasses can be held to the eyes with only one hand. This folds up as well.

You can purchase opera glasses easily these days. You can get an inexpensive model for about $50 to $100 US dollars but there are those with better optics are much more expensive. Expensive models will be more stylish as well. Antique opera glasses are often much more expensive merely because they are antique and most often much more ornate. Try them out to make sure they give you the magnification you need and are still in operating order.

Often times theaters and opera houses will rent opera glasses for a nominal price. If you go often you may want to consider purchasing your own, but if your visits are infrequent plan on renting. Before purchasing it is a good idea to try out different styles to see what suits you best. There are those people who don't mind holding them with both hands and some that would prefer using the one hand hold with the rod at the side. You may even find you don't want to use them as they interfere with the performance or you find it hard to hold them in place.

Mulan directed by Tony Bancroft is a Walt Disney productions' animated feature film. The week in which it was released the film was declared as the second highest grosser just behind The X - Files. It was awarded a number of prizes including the Golden Globe Award for the Best Original Score.

Mulan is bunglesome young girl who defends her homeland, China by cross dressing. The story is that Huns have attacked China and one member of the Chinese family must go to war to fight for his motherland. Mulan's father decides to go to war to protect his family's respect. But he is too old and death is imminent if he takes part in the battle. Sensing this Mulan, his daughter, cuts off her hair and sneaks out in the middle of the night to join the Chinese army. In order to protect his little daughter, her father prays to the ancestors to protect her in the journey and to provide her with some luck. The ancestors sent Mushu, a small dragon for her protection in the war.

Mulan is not a gory tale of battles and bloodshed. In fact, it is a story of courage, self - reliance and undying love for family and country. The backdrop of the film might be depressing but a child can surely appreciate the underlying meaning of Mulan's exploits and her passion for the nation. Meanwhile, Mushu the dragon is sent by Mulan's ancestors to look after her during the battles with the enemies. The character might seem a little 'extra' at times but it has been added to the film to give some comic relief so that the kids can really enjoy the film.

The film has some really nice voices going for but it fails to connect with the audiences. Eddie Murphy as Mushu is probably the only saving grace in the film. The character of Mulan sometimes gets overshadowed by some unnecessary sequences or characters which could have been dispensed with. Though Eddie Murphy does well in the voice of Mushu, one just feels that perhaps this character is the worst sidekick in a Disney animation film. It is a dismal film and is not worthy of a fair run at the box office.

There are a couple of scenes in Mulan which is totally uncalled for in a Disney flick. First, Mulan gapes at the bare - chested Captain in the training camp. Secondly, there is a bathing scene involving Mulan which could have been more aesthetically shot. Above all this, there are lots of bosom and cleavage jokes. These all could have been avoided in a film meant for children.

The main usp of the film is the animation design and illustration. The influence of traditional Chinese art is profound and cannot be ignored at all. The colors are good and subtle and in the battle scenes the colors have been used intelligently to almost bring alive the war between Huns and the Chinese. The film by Pitof had all the ingredients for a super flop and does not disappoint us after its release. It sank in the Box Office without any trace. 2004 saw the release of many superhero films and Catwoman is the worst of them all. Halle Berry plays the role of Patience Philips and even her presence could not save the film.

There is no one to doubt the talent of Halle Berry; so when everyone saw her playing the titular role everyone was optimistic. But then you cannot blame the actress if the script itself is so bad. The chain of events in which Patience Philips dies was already seen in Batman Returns. Only this time we see a new version of the sequence of events. Patience overhears a plan that a new skin cream will be launched in the market. The women cannot stop using this cream 'coz if they stop it will have adverse effects. She is eventually bumped off by the men hired by the cosmetics company.

With her new found feline abilities, Patience begins her quest to exact revenge on the company boss which is played by the beautiful Sharon Stone. Sharon Stone's acting is deplorable to say the least. The fact the she does not shed clothes in this film only adds to the woes of the audience. One of the major sore points of the film is the laughable costume worn by Halle Berry. Her funny costume does not evoke any positive response from the viewers at all. The CGI graphics which shows the Catwoman sliding down the buildings looks more like a videogame scene and it is surprising that 'Pitof' allowed such scenes in the final cut. This was not expected from someone who himself was visual effects specialist.

As a whole Catwoman has very little entertainment value. There are three script writers for the film and the plot of the story goes haywire right from the start. The film is really boring and it is no surprise that the film had hardly any sizeable audience at the theaters.

The scriptwriter of the Catwoman movie should be sent to the gallows for even thinking of writing this one. However, the film does become watchable whenever Benjamin Bratt enters the scene. The powers exhibited by the Catwoman are probably the worst of all. It fails to incite any awe or excitement from the viewers. The main fault in the film lies with the storyline. The whole action revolves around some beauty products. This is totally unthinkable. To top it all the action scenes in the film are very appalling to say the least. This is probably the most pathetic movie of 2004. It's hard to believe that this is the same year which gave us a movie called Torque. There are films which are worse than this and there would be many which would be as lousy as this film but the manner in which Warner Bros ahs promoted this sick movie has really surprised us all.

Among the performances or rather the lack of it, Halle Berry is definitely the worst. Is this the same Oscar winning actress? I am shocked. She is a total misfit for this role. She looks embarrassing in that feline suit. The company Boss, Sharon Stone is no better. The less said about her acting the better.

The Movie the Ugly Truth was released after creating lot of hype through advertising and various methods that were used. The funny part is that the movie carried a strange kind of a message to the public and eventually that is what has back fired.

Now according to the movie this is what a girl should do to be able to get the man from her dreams. Supposing you are a woman in love with a man, the movie puts across the message that you as a woman can't be more prosperous or cleverer than the man you are trying to woo. You can't even be reserved with him.

Furthermore the movie tries to sell the idea that no matter what your salary cannot be more than the guy and that no matter how wise you are you have to act dumb in front of him. It also tried to sell the idea that a sleazy attitude will attract the man more towards the woman and the peak is when the woman releases the vagabond that she has been hiding inside her for many years. The men find this irresistible.

If you have read so far, you have watched the entire movie. It definitely looks like the writers have living in a different century altogether. The script was written by three ladies. Unfortunately for the ladies, the movie has just not seemed to do anything at the box office and did you know that Katherine Heigl is not only the lead but also one of the producers of the movie!

Moving on further, Katherine portrays the role of Abby who is a show producer for the television. She is "forced" to contend with Mike (Gerard Butler) who is supposedly a male chauvinist. Mike gives relationship advice on one segment of Abby's show (sigh). Apparently he gives out some really horrid advice but still the ratings of the show are ever increasing thanks to him. The other obvious fact is that they "hate" each other. O please! How many times do we have to go through this hate-turns- into- sweet-love business?

In case you are trying to look for some extremely good chemistry between the two of the lead actrors. They have not been able to create a single flame in the entire movie. The performance was cold and dull. You will find that you will not want to hear Mike blabbering after a point because you just can't understand what he is saying. Considering the number of female action directors in the United States, it was not really a surprise that Kathryn Bigelow was referred to as the best female in this business. After her first two movies in the 90's, "Point break" and "Strange days", this title had become her second name. Directing the Hurt Locker has done nothing but renewed the glory of the title bestowed on her. She has put in her years of experience into making this film what it is today.

When you hear that the Hurt Locker is a war film based on Iraq, the immediate scenes that will pass your mind about the movie is that it might be about some politically unsound place but this movie begs to be different. It could may as well have been enacted under any other conflict as well. The director and the writer have shifted focus from why are the Americans in Iraq and how can they leave Iraq to the daily feelings of those living there. One more major factor that has been highlighted in the movie is the ever rising cost of living. It is bound to keep on increasing as that area always lives in heightened circumstances

The movie has one more special aspect which is that it just does not beat around the bush and immediately starts of with the first scene itself that introduces the audience to the unit which disposes the bombs. This is unit is dispatched from Bravo company. These specialists are trained in various fields including Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). In the first scene itself these people are shown disposing a bomb. The disposal team is lead by Sgt. Thompson (Guy Pearce) who depicts himself as a purely cocky man. The team also has a cautious team member Sanborn played by Anthony Mackie and the comparatively new and inexperienced Elderidge, played by Brian Geraghty. This very first scene only can help us gauge what may be the myriad of emotions that we will see for the remaining part of the movie.

Later in the movie Sgt. James takes the place of Sgt. Thompson and suddenly Sgt. Thompson looks nothing but a scared and nervous person. On the flip side Sgt. James throws caution to the wind and implements his own standards of safety that he had learnt through his experience. Sanborn and Elderidge succumb to his attitude.

Incidents keep taking place as the movie keep on. All the incidents are somehow a depiction of the first scene itself. All in all in the end the director is only trying to get us to know what is going on in James' head and why is he always trying to run behind danger?

The encounters in the movie are built in a very episodic manner. The best part about this is that the suspense is still maintained. Bigelow's idea to use hand held camera's to produce gritty scenes worked extremely well. The end is a bit unsatisfactory. The way the story was built up becomes it weakness and then the end that was chosen just seems dull and lifeless. Ending the movie with two speeches was not such a good idea after all. - 29081

The digital effects are good and the cast is athletic, which helps make the action a bit more believable. The movie is based on alien invading Earth. The characters are both funny and appealing.

Care has been taken not to make the aliens look mechanical in their appearance. They speak in English. The aliens are four in number, commanded by Skip (J.K.Simmons' voice) a warrior Razor who is a girl (Kari Wahlgren's voice), muscular Tazer (Voiced by Thomas Church) and Sparks (Voiced by Josh Peek). The action is not too graphic which is a pleasant change for children movies.

Joining them are their relatives who form another family, where Andy Richter plays the dad who is a beer drinker, Doris Roberts plays an off centred grandmother role, Austin Butler plays the male teen role and Henri and Regan Young play the identical twins one. Mayhem prevails when a meteor shower hits the house's attic and leaves four tiny aliens in it. The sole motive of these aliens is to destroy man-kind. They want to accomplish this by turning adult humans in to robots that are remotely controlled.

The aliens target the adults by injecting them on the neck and then controlling their movements and minds. The children are left alone because they are immune to this device. It is up to the children to rescue the world. Robert Hoffman is one of the first adults to get implanted by this device. His remote control somehow finds its way in to the children's hands who use it to make Robert slap himself, dance, twist, jerk and flip his body and then cannonball in to many embarrassing situations.

The aliens speak English and can never stop talking. They are commanded by Skip (J.K.Simmons' voice). The alien team consists of a warrior Razor who is a girl (Kari Wahlgren's voice), muscular Tazer (Voiced by Thomas Church) and Sparks (Voiced by Josh Peek). This is Emma Watson's first film after the Harry Potter series and naturally the expectations are sky high. The director must be lauded for her beautiful adaptation of the classic. The film is set in London in the backdrop of 1930s'.

The film, set in London, tells a thrilling tale of three orphans who goes by the name of Pauline, Petrova and Posy Fossil. These girls are adopted by a bizarre traveler, Gum, who deposits them with his selfless niece (Emilia Fox) and leaves for a trek. The film revolves around the struggles made by each girl to fulfill their dreams. Pauline is keen to become an actress; Petrova wants to be flyer when she grows up while Posy believes that she is destined to become a danseuse, given a chance.

The trio was dependant on Gum for their livelihood. So when Gum leaves for one of his explorations the cash in hand dries up and they begin to face the harsh reality. They learnt to balance their personal goals and the demand to survive financially and physically. No doubt, these hardships drain them emotionally.

The three girls help their guardian and niece Sylvia Brown played by Emilia Fox to meet the financial demands but still they fall short. So at last they decided to allow people to stay at their house. At this point we come across three boarders who came to stay here. Mr. Simpson, the garage owner, had an interest in cars and airplanes. Petrova would spend many hours chatting with him. Drs Jake and Smith took upon themselves to tutor the girls and Theo Dane the dance teacher did the girls a world of good when she managed to get them admitted to the school where she taught. The three girls began to grace the stage to earn the much needed money and in the process they discovered their hidden talents. Pauline becomes an excellent actress, Petrova learnt to fix engines and Posy realizes her dream of becoming a ballet dancer.

The film is a charming flick with a beautiful screenplay by Heidi Thomas. The film has a happy ending but is free from any clichs or unnecessary mushiness that is very prevalent in such family dramas.

All the three leads were impressive but the pick of them was Lucy Boyton who plays Posy. Lucy showed a maturity way beyond her age. Yasmin Page as Petrova is a thoughtful and intelligent actress. She was in one word - brilliant. I was a bit disappointed with Emma Watson. Though she has shed her Hermione character yet she was inconsistent at times in the movie. She did well in patches but could have done more justice to her reputation. Emilia Fox as the niece Sylvia Brown was fantastic and is great in bringing the character alive.

The film is well made and should be received well by the audience. It is a sweet little charming film but the sad part is that the film was never released in theaters nor shown on HBO. But you need not worry. You can watch Ballet Shoes online free and recommend others too. - 29081

The'80's saw a large number of science fiction movies released every year but most of them were over-ambitious and delivered under-par movies. However, the one science fiction movie that stands out in everyone's memory is the Back to the Future movie which was written and directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg.

Unlike other futuristic movies this movie is based in the'80's and has a one of its kind storyline. Time travel concepts were not new in the'80's but almost everyone thought of time travel as traveling in the future. So, when the title Back to the Future hit the movie screens people were wondering what it was all about. The movie has two main characters, Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown who are played by Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd respectively.

People who lived in the 80's, kids and adults both, were totally entranced by this new concept and even today many think it is one of the most brilliant sci-fi movie ever. The movie starts with Michael J. Fox who plays Marty and his weird and eccentric friend Dr. Emmet Brown played by Christopher Lloyd trying to work on a futuristic looking car that can time travel.

Dr. Emmet Brown, who Marty refers to as 'Doc', experiments on a lot of different things but is never successful but after testing the time machine car on his dog he and Marty are excited about traveling into the future. But instead of the future due to some error Marty lands in past, in'55, where he gets to meet his parents in their teens. Marty needs to be very cautious as one wrong move in the past can put his existence in the future in jeopardy.

Every stage of the movie is studded with great performances from the two lead actors who are well supported by the rest of the cast. Other than the acting what fascinated the crowd the most was the electrifying car that touches high speeds and just vanishes into nothingness before coming out in another time in the same place. The movie was such as great hit that even today people refer to it as one of the best ever science fiction movies of our time.

One of the most outstanding scenes throughout the movie is when Marty plays Johnny Be Good at the prom of'55 where his mom and dad are both present. The student crowd at the prom is flabbergasted and stunned with the music as no one in the year'55 had ever heard anything like this before. Michael J. Fox's performance in this scene is truly outstanding and unforgettable.

The Silence of Lorna movie, is from the Dardenne brothers from Belgium. In this movie they make an attempt to a grim social subject and turn it in to a social reality by examining closely the human behaviour in various situations. The film's end is more than unusual and proves to be quite reflective. This film sets out to investigate the behaviour of a lost soul. The film received mixed reactions when it was screened at Cannes but what mattered was that people were talking about it regardless of the reactions.

Lorna, (Arta Dobroshi) is an immigrant from Albania. She comes to a Belgium town, Liege to fulfil her dream of living independently and running a sandwich shop. She wants to do this with her boyfriend but has a distorted sense of morality. She enters a marriage of convenience to Claudy, a Belgium junky (Jeremie Renier) by paying him to acquire herself a Belgium passport. Claudy is struggling to quit drugs and is greedy for money. He knows that when Lorna is ready to divorse him, he will be paid again.

His daily needs keep increasing. Lorna is desperate, lonely and trying desperately to hang on to her dreams. She meets Fabio (Fabrizio Rongione), a Russian gangster who tells Lorna that once she gets her Belgium passport it is best to do away with Claudy by making it look like a drug overdose case. He then suggests that she get married to him so that he too could get a Belgium passport. Lorna only wants to purchase a snack bar to run with her boyfriend Sokol (Alban Ukaj) and so agrees to play along.

Lorna has other plans, she thinks that she will be able to divorce Claudy if she speeds up the proceedings of the divorce, marry the Russian gangster, earn her money and then buy her snack bar without getting Claudy killed. Claudy is aware of Lorna's plan of getting her Belgium passport and then wanting to divorce him but is unaware of her mob connections and agreement.

Lorna's play does not end until a day when things make her stop to think because of a certain series of events that unexpectedly take place. She is forced to stop and re-examine her path. The flame of humanity is lit in her. She is driven in to seeking comfort from a strange doctor and a nurse. He claims that it is through this movie, that he looked "directly in to hell" in a clearer and sharper way. He believes that the current workforce is responsible for contributions to human pain and costs due to globalization. Values like human compassion, take a secondary seat, the fore seat is occupied by something more darker and sinister - cruelty and glee in painful spectacles.

The story Import Export is depressing and takes a look at two lives that are parallel in Ukraine and Austria. Olga (Ekateryna Rak) is a nurse by profession. She is also a single mother who is struggling to make ends meet. The pay is poor and the housing conditions terrible. When she reaches saturation limits, she decides to leave her child with her mother and move to Vienna to look for a job as a cleaner or a nanny.

Paul, (Paul Hoffman) who belongs to the working class in Austria is our second story main lead. He possesses few qualifications that are not adequate for him to secure a good, well paying job and has en number of tattoos on his body. Fired by his security firm for getting beaten up by drunken delinquents, Paul has only choice if he wants to survive. He has to accompany his womanising, repulsive, unpleasant, step-father, Michael (Michael Thomas) to Ukraine and sell gumball machines, fruit machines etc, which are second hand, to bars and cafes.

Olga gets herself a job in Austria, as a cleaner cum nanny in a house where the residents of the house treat her with contempt and fire her peremptorily with a day's notice. Because she does not have a nursing licence she gets herself a job as a cleaner at a geriatric hospital where she is forbidden to touch the patients. Here she meets the ward-sister who is a spiteful woman who constantly keeps bullying her but she also finds comfort with Erich, a patient who is kind toward her.

The differences between the housing conditions in affluent Austria and desolate Ukraine housing estates are blaring because the film is shot in winter. The movie depicts the sex industry in a manner that is very close to reality. The rich are shown using and exploiting prostitutes for their own entertainment and pleasure. Their treatment toward the sex workers is abusing and humiliating which is what happens in reality and which is what is captured quite vividly. He is suffering from a blood disorder which is untreatable and has less than a year to live. When he learns about his disease he begins to withdraw from life gradually. When he comes across Ira.

Ira, the second important character, is a stand up, struggling, comedian who is still struggling to find his true stage persona. One night both Ira and George perform at the same club causing George to notice Ira and employ him as his semi-personal assistant. Ira gradually becomes George's friend, punching bag, joke writer and nurse. George establishes Ira in his Malibu house. He likes and dislikes Ira who is impressed by George and ready to do his bidding and please him in every way.

In due course, Ira convinces George to let his friends know of his illness. George declares that he is friendless. Slowly faces from the past start appearing, mostly old comedians, to hang out with George. The scenes of the monotonous, depressing life of George are replaced by scenes from his past which are nowhere close to what he has turned in to today. They depict a George who was fun loving and funny.

The past also shows us about how George fell in love with an actress called Laura who was his one true love and one true regret. His regret was because he had lost her. Laura gave up her career even before it could contribute to making her in to a full fledged star to settle down for a family life with another man (Eric Bana). There is an emotional tear jerking scene involving George and Laura. The character 'Laura' is acted out by Apatow's wife Leslie Mann. Laura's children's role is played by their daughter's in real-life.

After old school, Todd Philips has come up with yet another winner - The Hangover. This is definitely one of the better comedies to come out this year and I can guarantee that you won't stop laughing till the end of the film. The main theme of the movie is about a planned bachelor party going haywire.

Just after watching 30 seconds of the movie people will hear you laughing out loud. This is such a good flick. The story is nothing original but it is simply told. Three friends travel to Las Vegas to celebrate the upcoming marriage of their friend with a planned bachelor party of their own. They have a whale of a time during the evening but the real fun starts the next morning. Phil (Bradley Cooper), a married school teacher, finds out in the morning that he, the dentist Stu and Alan (bride's brother) have lost the groom, Doug.

The whole story is told in reverse as the characters of the film try to put in the place the events of the previous night. This part of the film is has pace as they race against time to find the groom as the wedding hours is drawing near. In the process they gradually discover what really happened that fateful night. The Hangover is extremely funny as it does not follow the same success mantra as the other films in this genre.

The pace of the film, as told earlier, is very fast and the jokes are at the appropriate moment. One should see the look on their faces as the valet brings in a police car instead of the Mercedes. The police car was actually stolen by them the previous night.

The Hangover is a major success mainly because of the fact that the lead actors share an onscreen chemistry which is never seen before. Of the three friends Bradley Cooper is Phil, the married school teacher; Ed Helms (stu) is the dentist who is always terrified of his girlfriend and Zach Galifianakis plays Alan, the groom's future brother - in - law. These three gives some of the best moments in this hilarious film. Justin Bartha plays the groom who is missing in action. Heather Graham is the stripper whom Ed Helms married on that fateful night.

The film is a bit rowdy and salacious but it is really a funny film which makes you laugh through out the entire running time. The German director Ingo Rasper debuts with a comedy - Fashion Victims. The flick has already won many accolades including the prestigious Berlin and Beyond Festival's first - feature prize. It has also won an audience prize at the Max Ophuls Festival. The plot revolves around a middle-aged status obsessed family and their upheavals with gay romance as a sub plot thrown in.

Edgar Selge plays the role of Wolfgang Zenker who lives in a provincial German community. He has been booked several times for over speeding. He also has a stay-at-home wife in Erika (Franziska Walser). Wolfgang earns his livelihood by selling drab clothes for middle aged women. Roman Knizka plays the role of Steven, the young salesman, who rivals Wolfgang with his collection of new fashion conscious clothes which becomes an instant hit with the people. This, no doubt, creates a problem for Wolfgang.

His son Karsten (Florian Batholomai) is all set to join a Spanish language summer school. His father Wolfgang is driving him to the airport when he is again pulled up for crossing the speed limit. Due to his repeated offences, he receives an immediate ban on driving. On his father's insistence, Karsten is forced to stay at home and the sub plot takes shape from here.

Karsten was given the job of driving his dad around in a desperate attempt to save the business from new aggressive salesman - Steven. The young lad watches his father run from shop to shop as they have already accepted the new fashion clothes from his rival. Once when he was sent to the dry cleaners for an errand Karsten had a chance meeting with his Dad's foe, Steven and almost immediately sparks fly between the two. Very soon Kasrsten realizes that Steven is his Dad's sworn enemy and how he is in double jeopardy. First he needs to conceal his sexuality and secondly he cannot reveal his relationship with Steven. On the other hand, Erika is seen contemplating a divorce from his husband while Wolfgang is busy over-extending himself at the bank.

The film ends with reconciliation though it threatens tragedy at the onset. The film is a relatively good one with some brilliant performances from the lead actors. Edgar essays his role well with a hint of desperation in his performance that is so evident in a salesman. Walser as his wife is brilliant and you just cannot avoid sympathizing with her. She portrays a woman who is worn down by the actions of her husband.

The film had the potential to be a real blockbuster due to its portrayal of "Fashion Victims" but sometimes the film is too cruel to be termed a comedy. The camera work is brilliant as the film beautifully captures the by lanes and the towns of German provinces. The setting of the film is perfect and is in tune with the tragic undertone of the movie.

History of the Dallas Cowboys

Based in Irving, Texas, the Dallas Cowboys are one of the professional football teams of the Western states. They are currently housed at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. They first joined the NFL in 1960 as an expansion team. They became very popular hence, primarily because the team has always shown the might and the form of a champion.

For 160 consecutive games, the Dallas Cowboys have sold out every single seat in their arena. This streak started almost 20 years ago. This only shows how powerful the team really is, in and out of the playing court. The record they have established caused them to earn the title of being the most valuable sports franchise in the United States by Forbes Magazine.

Before they are known as the Cowboys, the team was called the Steers and the Rangers first. The team started playing in the 1960s at the Cotton Bowl arena. They never won a single game during their first season though. But that didn't stop them from winning big several years later.

With Don Meredith, Chuck Howley, and Don Perkins playing for the team in the 1960s, the team slowly but surely became one of the contenders of the league. The nationwide popularity of the Dallas happened the next decade when they became the favorites during the Super Bowl. The team won Super Bowl XII, after making an appearance in Super Bowl X and eventually, in Super Bowl XIII.

In the 1980s, Danny White joined the team. He replaced Roger Staubach as quarterback and he was able to lead the Cowboys to a five-time playoff series during his reign. But despite their good performance, the team failed to make it into Super Bowl. There were lots of losses and disappointments during this decade. But the team knows how to get past them.

In the 2000s, Dave Campo moved from being a defensive coordinator to head coach. But he failed to perform as expected. However, in 2003, the Cowboy became the team with the best record, allowing them to acquire a playoff berth during that season. The Cowboys were actually on and off, being in the playoffs and then out again. It is like a rollercoaster ride, as the team tried to regain their lost championship form.

However, a few more misfortunes befell the team as 12 of the players got injured in an accident at their practice facility. The arena collapsed when a wind storm strike. Even so, the Dallas Cowboys will continue to be a strong force in the NFL. In fact, they are scheduled to be a part of the Legacy Weekend games of the 2009 season.

Throughout their stint in the National Football League, the cowboys have won a total of five Super Bowl Championships. They have 10 Conference Championships and 19 Division Championships as well, along with a total of 29 playoff appearances.

The team used to play at the Cotton Bowl stadium during their first few years in the league. Then they transferred to the Texas Stadium in 1971 until they moved out only a year ago. Right now, the team is playing at the Cowboys Stadium, which serves as their official home court. - 29081

Apart from collecting human relics and articles which they find in the ocean they try to know more about humans by meeting Scuttle, who is a seagull and means a world of good to Ariel. But the problem is Scuttle doesn't know anything and only gives out outrageously funny information which he and his listeners think is true. Once when Ariel is on the surface she spots Prince Eric on a boat and cannot take her eyes off him and knows he is the one for her. But an unfortunate storm wrecks the boat and Ariel has to save Eric's life.

Eric finds himself ashore but is sure that a girl saved his life and decides to find her. Meanwhile the underwater king is very upset with Ariel's contact with the human and in his anger completely destroys Ariel's human artifact collection with his trident. Ariel is grieved by the longing of her true love and with the king's anger. That is when she is taken to Ursula the sea witch by two eels.

Ursula's deepest desire is to conquer the underwater world and she wants to use Ariel to do so. She promises to make Ariel into a human for three days during which Ariel has to get her true love's kiss. But in the bargain she takes away Ariel's voice and the task which looked so easy at first now seems very difficult.

Some of Ariel's sea creature friends help take her human form to the shore where the prince soon finds her and is sure that she was the one who saved his life. But as soon as he learns that she cannot speak he is convinced that he was wrong. Ursula comes in the form of a beautiful woman and sings in Ariel's voice to lure the prince and marry him. But will he?

The movie gets off to an action packed start with Mr. Incredible coming to the rescue of the city. He's successful in his rescue mission but it comes at a very high price in terms of the damages caused to the city's infrastructure. To add to his woes, it turns out that the person he rescues didn't want to be rescued and promptly sues Mr. Incredible. The city officials too decide to ban him from executing his superhero duties on account of the damages incurred.

Mr. Incredible gets on with his daily life with Elastigirl and starts a family however; he is not really satisfied with the lack of action in his life. In addition, his kids have also inherited some superhero powers and try not to use it in their daily life. Mr. Incredible soon finds himself in mid-life crisis and decides to do something about it. But at the same time a Super Villain who wants to be a Super Hero is making a comeback.

As mentioned earlier, the characters are all so well animated, you could easily forget you're watching an animated movie. Pixar even manages to depict the most difficult real-life elements like fire and water so realistically, you can't help but marvel at the sights.

Watch The Incredibles and you'll probably begin to see hints that point to more than one influence including the Watchmen, Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four. My suggestion is that make a list of things for yourself, or maybe even a spreadsheet that your take with you when shopping around. Put a column for features that you have to have as opposed to the want to have features. And definitely shop around for your entertainment center. Make a budget for yourself that you a will not go over by even a penny, no matter how much a particular piece of media is screaming 'buy me, buy me.'

Watch for certain systems you like to go on sale. Sales occur on a regular basis, and you can save yourself a load of money. If you are purchasing the features separately, my suggestion is to purchase them from the same store. That way, if there is a hiccup, you won't need the issue of pointing your finger from the various stores to try and blame each other.

Opera Glasses: A comedic Review of Shear Madness

Chances are, you have heard of Shear Madness, perhaps from a friend, or relative, and are considering attending a performance. My recommendation is that you should not attend, unless you would like to feel physical pain, and suffering from extreme laughter. However if you feel like you cheek and stomach muscles are in healthy enough shape, you may be able to endure this marathon of laughter. Opera glasses are very necessary for a performance of this type.

The play begins in a unisex hair salon; there are many types of people at coming in and out of the salon. We see many stereotypes, we see the dumb blond, homosexual hair dresser (played by John McGivern in the performance I attended.), the police officers, a high class woman, and of course the traditional red hot hunk of a man, which makes John McGivern's character giggle with delight. In this scene we get the first bits of comedy. All of the characters seem to be sharing the most well guarded secrets with the hairdressers; much like as is found in the real world.

Shear Madness is truly an evolutionary play; this is because it is always changing! What I mean by this, is that many of the words that are spoken in the play are not actually in the script but rather are given as improvisations by gifted comedians, in fact, much of the things talked about in the play focuses on current local and world news, you will never know what to expect. One of the things I found most amusing about this performance, is that many times, actors are caught off guard by the other actor's improvised lines, and you see them trying to contain their own laughter. For this you will surely want to bring your opera glasses as not to miss a beat!

During the play, all of a sudden, one of the characters will speak to the audience and ask for your opinion. People shout out the answer. Answers vary and it adds an entire new dimension to the already hilarious play. Be careful if you sit in the front three rows as you may be spotted out as the butt of a witty joke. Do not worry; the jokes are funny yet silly.

Besides running a beauty salon and all of the gossip that it entails, Shear Madness' plot pertains to a murder. The person murdered is the owner of the salon. The owner lived upstairs of the salon before she was murdered. As a member of the audience you are enthralled trying to figure out who the murderer is. Looking back at the play, each character in the play could possibly be the correct killer. You will find yourself squinting your eyes and eyebrows and scratching your head trying to figure out who committed the murder. Use your Opera glasses often to help you choose who the guilty murderer is.

What makes this comedy play different than any other play is that the guilty murderer is different each time. The characters in the play will talk to the audience and ask them questions. The audience actually votes and chooses who the murderer is. As odd as this may sound, it is really a very clever concept. Some people even see this play more than once and usually see a different ending.

The play Shear Madness is actually one of the longest running non musical plays being attended today. Many very popular critics such as The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and reviewed this play, and have written wonderful things about it. There is no doubt you too will love this play, and want to see it again and again.

Night at the Museum movie part 1, is quite a feast to the eye just as so is part 2. Part 1 and 2 are comedy, adventure American movies that were released in 2006 and 2009 respectively. The movie was adapted from a children's book written by Milan Trenc with the same name and was a great success. The cast had Ben Stiller in the lead role supported by Robin Williams, Bill Cobbs, Dick Van Dyke, Paul Rudd, Mickey Rooney, Steve Coogan, Carla Gugino, Owen Wilson and Ricky Gervais.

Part 1, called Night at the Museum and part 2, called Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian had provided through family entertainment. Part one began with a divorced father by name of Larry Daley (Ben), who was struggling to keep a stable job after his numerous attempts at various business ventures that failed miserably. He realized that he was loosing his son and desperately starts to make attempts to win him over. His son Nick, was beginning to choose Don, his step father, as a role model to look up to due to his successful career as a Wall street bond trader.

Larry, finally manages to get a job at the American Museum of Natural History as a night guard. The three ready to retire night guards (Cecil, Reginald and Gus) give Larry a short, quick tour of the place, tell him to leave on some lights at all times of the night and warn him against letting anything 'in or out' of the museum. Larry finds all this is very humorous. When darkness descends, to his surprize, all the museum exhibits become alive. This includes Tyrannosaurus rex, a living skeleton, Dexter, a capuchin mischievous monkey, Jedediah, a cowboy leading miniatures, Theodore Roosevelt's wax model and Octavius the Roman General. Mayham prevails.

Roosevelt (Robin), decides to help Larry restore some sort of order and tells him about the Egyptian Tablet of Akmenrah, an artifact brought in'52 to the museum. Since the arrival of this artifact in'52, all the exhibits in the museum came to life every night. The exhibits could chose to go outside of the museum if they wished up on the condition that they return to the museum before sunrise or they would turn to dust. Cecil, the old guard, suggests that Larry must begin to learn history to be able to deal with the exhibits in a better way.

Next morning, Rebecca, Larry's boss almost chucks him out of his job when she sees the mess in the museum created from the night before. Larry manages to retain his job but is not successful in convincing Rebecca of the night's happenings. He decides to take Nick with him to the museum for the night but no exhibit comes to life that night. He again fails to impress Nick. Cecil, Reginald and Gus have received enhanced energy and vitality from the Tablet and don't want to forsake it, therefore they steal the Tablet of Ahkmenrah and run away.

The chase to catch them begins. The story becomes super exciting from here on. How the museum exhibits help Larry in the chase, how Larry convinces his boss of what takes place in the night, how Larry wins over his son achieves his dream of becoming a role model for his son is unfolded in this movie. Wicked the musical is absolutely brilliant. We have all watched The Wizard of Oz, made in'39, growing up every year. Now everyone can watch The Wizard of Oz anytime they please if they purchase the DVD.

To begin, I advise you to bring a pair of opera glasses. You will find amazing costumes, and characters you won't believe, you will not want to miss one bit, and this is what opera glasses will do for you. Flowing silk materials make up the costumes, the musical numbers will amaze you. Opera glasses will give you all the detail you desire.

As you begin the story, you start to learn the origin of The Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good Witch Really was. You will learn about the childhoods' of each of these women, this is a story that is sure to surprise.

I know that as you attend Wicked you will be shocked and awed at the twist in the original storyline that you did not expect, and you will find yourself sympathizing with the Wicked witch. You will begin to see the Glinda the good witch was not as you would have suspected. Glinda was really a popular spoiled girl, and the Wicked Witch, Elphaba had quite a traumatic childhood. Elphaba was born with green skin, as was made fun of constantly, she had no mother growing up, and was raised solely by her father. You will see that she was not wicked all along, and that she actually did good things. After you have attended this performance, you may find yourself purchasing the t-shirt, hat, or as I recommend the CD to this wonderful performance, you will find yourself listening to it over and over again.

Wicked is an award winning Tony musical and deserves every praise it is given. Although the New York Times did not give Wicked favorable reviews, just ask anyone who has seen Wicked. You are sure to get a smile with either the word or words "excellent", "magnificent", "so good you have to see it!" and more. opera glasses will make the most out of your viewing pleasure.

The musical Hairspray is set in June in the year'62 in Baltimore, Maryland. The main character, Tracy, is an overweight young girl. The young girl dreams of becoming famous. If you do not have front row seats, you will want to bring your opera glasses so as not to miss a heartbeat of this fast-paced musical.

One day, our hero, is watching T.V. And finds out that That the Corny Collins Show is having a huge dance contest, excitedly Tracy tells her mother that she would like to enter the contest. Her mother, who is overweight like Tracy discourages the idea that Tracy has had. In reality, Tracy's mother, would like nothing more to protect her daughter, as she knows that people will make fun of her for being overweight. Additionally, her mother feels that the show is racist.

With the good grace of her father Wilbur, Tracy finally gets permission to go on to the dance audition. During the audition, she meets with, and falls in love with a boy name Link Larkin. As the author I recommend, preparing for this moment, by making sure that you are using your opera glasses! You will surely want to catch the expression on Tracy's face as you see her fall hopelessly in love with Link. At this point, Tracy begins a beautiful song about love, and her dream of being with Link. Tracy is rudely awakened from her daydream, only to find out that due to her weight, she did not make the cut for the dance competition. Just as her mother suspected would happen from the beginning.

After the audition, Tracy returns to school down trodden, but as luck would have it, her troubles do not end just yet. Tracy is given detention simply due to the fact that her hair is just so big, her big hair causes such a problem, because those that sit behind her in class are not even able to see the chalkboard. For this reason, the musical Hairspray, is named Hairspray.

As Tracy sits in detention feeling sorry for herself she meets a nice black boy named Seaweed, Seaweed is a great dancer, and teaches Tracy some amazing dance moves. A dance party is scheduled for the school, and Tracy decides to attend despite her recent run of very bad luck. This time Tracy's luck is about to change, attending the dance, is the owner of the Corny Collins Show, the show that is to feature the dance contest, as he watches the dancers he notices the moves that Tracy puts on, he falls in love with her dance style, and chooses Tracy to dance on his show. Tracy is ecstatic to find out that at long last she will be on the show! Make sure you are using your opera glasses at this point.

Tracy again finds herself as the recipient of good news, she finds out that the lovable hunk Link Larkin will be singing a romantic song to her on T.V! Another character on the show is Amber a snobby cruel girl, who also happens to be in love with Link, finds out about Tracy's fortune, and decides to make Tracy's life a living hell, full of harassment.

As we continue with the play, Tracy is invited to record shop that Seaweed's mother owns, all during the play, Tracy continues to grow close to Seaweed, and is upset to find out that the show that she is about to go on, only allows black people to attend their shows once a month, on "Negro Day" because of this Tracy finds herself fighting for black rights, and helping her best friend, the ending of Hairspray the musical is sure to please, but you will have to attend to find out.

Hairspray is truly a wonderful musical, with fun vibrant music for all to enjoy. make sure that you remember your opera glasses to make sure you have the best seat in the house. - 29081

Princess Protection Program Movie is brought to us by Disney Channel movie. This is one movie that will be liked by all ages. There are two stars performing together in this movie. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. You'll love the clothes because they are perfectly paired and trendy. The characters of both the leads and the supporting actors are well defined and everyone looks the part that they are playing. The plot and script is sufficiently engrossing.

The plot is quite simple really. Costa Luna, is a small island kingdom. The official language is English though it is laced with a strong Spanish accent. The island is engulfed in grief as the King had an untimely death. Though the grief is fresh,the dead King's wife has to help their 17 year old daughter, Rosie, the crown princess, prepare for becoming the monarch. With just ten days to the coronation, the palace is shaken by an attack from the rebels who want a dictator, militant General Magnus Kane, to be installed to rule the kingdom in place of the monarch.

A battle breaks out. During the battle, the princess is whisked away by a princess protection program to safety to save her from political imprisonment. The PPP shifts the princess from her small island kingdom to the USA. Here she meets Carter who is a full time high school student and works part time as a bait shop employee in her father's store in the suburbs of Louisiana. Carter's dad is part of the PPP and leaves the princess in his daughter's care.

It is up on Carter to now teach the princess, Rosie how to act normal, how to blend in to the school atmosphere so that she is not detected by any spys. A job that both hate equally. Carter comes down tough on Rosie so that she gets rid of her snobby behaviour and princess mannerisms. Carter herself is picked on very often at school and is not very popular. At school Rosie and Carter pretend that they are couzins. Though this is not very agreeable to both the girls they have to get along for the safety of the princess and for the sake of the promise made by Carter to her father.

Rosie's mother who had been left behind is held captive by the General who forces her to marry him. This is what leads to the film's climax. Quite interestingly, the story captures the development of the bond between the girls as they study, play and try working part time together. Each learns valuable lessons from the other. While Carter learns how to act like a princess though she is not one and Rosie learns how to be a normal person despite the fact that she cannot be one.

The moral of the movie is that you don't have to be born in to a royal family to know how to behave like one. It teaches about acceptance as an important aspect of life. It gives lessons on friendship and how it is to be valued and cherished. The movie has great music to go along with it. Don't wait to watch Princess Protection Program online free. The subwoofer is a 4 inch down firing subwoofer. I'm really not sure what that means but it's another piece of information that I found - thought you might want to know. There are many more people that are more technical than myself.

The Fellowship of the Ring starts of with an eight minute long prologue that sets up the legend of the ring. The story is based on a ring that has been forged to destroy the world. It is powerful and dark. The ring has escaped from Sauron the dark lord to find it's way in to the hands of a hobbit called Frodo. This hobbit used to live in the Shire. He was a sweet natured, peace loving, smoking pipeweed, munchkin short, furry foot young fellow who was from the affluent class and loved to while away his time with his three friends, Sam, Pippin and Merry.

The ring reaches Frodo's hands as part of the inheretance that he gets from his uncle Bilbo Baggings. The ring changes his and the lives of his friends forever. Frodo has to destroy the dark lord and his evil plans. In this quest, he is aided by other characters like Gandol, the white, Aragon, the human warrior, Boromir another human warrior, the elf archer Legolas and Gimli the dwarf who form the fellowship of the ring. Frodo's got to travel to Mordor for the ring was forged there. On his journey, he needs to pass Moria, which is filled with magic, dark riders on dark horses, ghosts, ringwraiths, giant trolls and orcs - rotten teeth and flesh, foul smelling, gigantic, ugly beasts.

Frodo has only the ring, an invisibility cloak and a sword to protect himself. He carries this ring more than anyone else besides Saruman himself. This has affected his health in a negative way, by the end of the third part, yet he understands his duties and tries to fulfill it. Arwen, the elf princesses, with her delicate unearthly beauty and strange elf tongue adds romance. There are many battles that are fought in all three parts. The action scenes are mind blowing. There is not a moment in the movie when you will not find yourself sitting on the edge of the chair and wondering what will happen next.

Gollum is one of the most interesting characters. He constantly contradicts himself. His has a duel shaded character, the pitiful good side struggling not to be overcome by the revengeful, poisonous bitter side, is portrayed well. Gollum is at the right place, at the right time. He helps Frodo in going undetected while entering in to Mordor. It is Gollum who takes Frodo to Mordor through hidden paths and short cuts. Gollum's longing for his 'precious', the ring, takes the film to the end that it has because in the final moments, Frodo for a second succumbs to the power of the ring, and wants to keep it for himself.

Princess Protection Program Movie is a movie by Disney Channel movie. The movie is a hit with all ages. The movie has two stars performing together both the performances are at par. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are the main role performers. The clothes are both perfectly paired and trendy. The lead characters and the supporting actors roles are well defined and everyone looks the part that they are playing. The plot and script is engrossing.

The plot itself is extremely simple. Costa Luna, an island kingdom whose official language is English combined with a strong Spanish accent, is really small. It is ruled by a King whose death is untimely. Through the grief filled moments the King's wife has to help their 17 year old daughter, who is the crown princess, to prepare for becoming the monarch. Ten days prior to the coronation, the palace is stormed by rebels who do not want a monarchy. They want a militant General Magnus Kane, also a dictator to be installed to rule the kingdom.

A fierce war breaks out. During the battle, a princess protection program whisks the princess to safety so that she does not have to face political imprisonment. The PPP shifts the princess from her small island kingdom to the rural parts of Louisiana, USA. Here she meets Carter, a full time high school student and part time bait shop employee in her father's store. Carter's dad is part of the PPP and needs to go on a mission therefore he entrusts the princess in his daughter's care.

It is up on Carter to now teach the princess, Rosie how to act normal, how to blend in to the school atmosphere so that she is not detected by any spys. A job that both hate equally. Carter comes down tough on Rosie so that she gets rid of her snobby behaviour and princess mannerisms. Carter herself is picked on very often at school and is not very popular. At school Rosie and Carter pretend that they are couzins. Though this is not very agreeable to both the girls they have to get along for the safety of the princess and for the sake of the promise made by Carter to her father.

Rosie's mother who had been left behind is held captive by the General who forces her to marry him. This is what leads to the film's climax. Quite interestingly, the story captures the development of the bond between the girls as they study, play and try working part time together. Each learns valuable lessons from the other. While Carter learns how to act like a princess though she is not one and Rosie learns how to be a normal person despite the fact that she cannot be one.

The moral of the movie is that you don't have to be born in to a royal family to know how to behave like one. It teaches about acceptance as an important aspect of life. Opera glasses developed from a series of other inventions. All this started in 1608 when the Dutch optician Hans Lipperhey created binoculars consisting of two parallel telescopes. Their magnification capability was a (very impressive for the time) x3. Within one year the Italian mathematician and philosopher Galileo Galilee made massive improvements to the techniques and types of lenses used in telescopes, thereby increasing the magnification ability to x30.

Binoculars of the time had one major disadvantage: Despite offering a much wider field of view than a telescope, they made use of convex lenses - which resulted in the image being inverted! It wasn't before more than 100 years later that Anton Schyrle for the first time manufactured binoculars with an extra lens that re-inverted the image. And it took another--1 years before John Dollond of England solved another big problem that binoculars had - color distortion. He started using achromatic lenses (color free lenses) and thereby solved this problem permanently.

Another major step forward was the development of prismatic binoculars by an Italian by the name of Ignazio Porro - a gunnery officer. Prismatic binoculars had a much wider field of vision than before and offered dramatically improved magnification abilities as well.

Opera glasses are mentioned for the first time in London newspaper advertisements dating back to 1730. These were not binoculars, but small Galilean telescopes. They were both used decoratively and to watch opera with. The bodies were often inlaid with gems, mother of pearl, ivory, enamel and other types of decorations.

We find references to binocular opera glasses for the first time in Vienna during 23. They were still really not much more than two tiny telescopes connected by a bridge. You had to focus the telescopes individually by expanding the tubes.

These very soon became as much a fashion item as an optical instrument. The designs became more elaborate and had to be worked on by painters, goldsmiths and other artists to create the ultimate fashion accessory. Theater goers not only used this to watch the stage, but also to scrutinize other people in the audience - presumably to see who else had opera glasses!

The design was further improved substantially when it became possible to adjust both lenses at the same time using a small wheel in the center. This made opera glasses even more popular and soon everyone who was anyone had to have one. They were highly regarded as gifts - as one can clearly see when you study the inscriptions on many of these glasses dating back to the 17th century.

Nowadays there is a wide array of opera glasses available. You can get them in virtually any color you want. They come in many different styles and materials. Strangely enough, monoculars are still popular, as are opera glasses with handles or reading lights. The character of Gollum has been brilliantly crafted by Peter Jackson using computer generated special effects. Also, the last two battles in the movie take your breath away not only because of the fantastic visual effects but also because of the grand scale of the battle. The soundtrack in the movie only adds to the entire feel and is elegant and powerful.

This movie also offers a little more than the other two movies. All the main characters have their most brilliant moments in this movie. Take for example, Merry and Pippin who split due to Pippin's stupidity but make the most of their opportunities and turn into heroes who will be remembered forever. Also, Aragon is about to receive the highest honor that can be bestowed upon him while he gets ready to meet the woman of his dreams.

Each of these three movies has been a masterful stroke to create the trilogy picture for the Lord of the Rings fans, so to say that one was better than the other would be incorrect as each has had its own charm. The movie grabs your attention from the first scene and grips you until the end, where it leaves you craving for more.
